It doesn't mean we actually eat then.
First we need to admire the pizza.
Canadian bacon & pineapple is an old favorite.
Or I'd happily share one with Jes & J_B. (Better make it an extra large.)
My current favorite is:
Alfredo sauce
Grilled chicken breast
Smoked bacon
Fresh spinach
Fresh mushrooms
Garlic
Tomatoes
Mozzarella
Smoked provolone
(on a hand-tossed crust, of course)
so the pizza we ended up having last night ...
started with a very good frozen woodfire thin crust 4 cheese pizza - Setanta added about a quarter pound of mushrooms that had been sauteed with onion, garlic and roasted chicken - and then added shredded pork souvlaki left from the night before - and then added some sliced lowfat mozzarella that strung out beautifully
it was yummmmmmmmy
We are having pizza for dinner now.
Garlic
parm cheese
mozz cheese
provolone cheese
ham
onions
buttered and garlic-y crust
Yep, cashews. Try it sometime!
I'm a purist.
New York style.
No toppings
Not too much cheese
Plenty of sauce.
mmmmmmmmm.......
Chef-boy-ar-dee, from a box. Just like mamma used to make.
She'd mix the dough and let it rise in a warm spot until double in size. Then she'd spread the dough to completely cover a cookie sheet (paper thin), add the sauce from the box, extra oregano, the crappy parmesan, some mozzarella and pepperoni.
Pretty nasty stuff but hey, it was mamma's homemade (sorta) pizza.
I am all about the deep dish. All this thin crust stuff is for the birds.
Give me pepperoni and mushroom, and I am in hog heaven.
