I need to know how to say an ingredient in English

Someone has asked me to translate a recipe and I don't know whether or not he will find an ingredient there. Could you please help me?

I'll try to describe it. I'm talking about small pieces of fruit which have granulated sugar on them.

Not candied fruit I think. candied fruit could be glaced fruit

we call it "mixed dried fruit" this leaves you able to use the supermarket packet type or cut up your own from whats available.

Dried fruit, at least in the US is something else. I am thinking on the stuff on the top left, although the stuff on the top right looks like candied fruit.

I'm confused. I don't know whether they are glazed fruits ( http://www.thenutfactory.com/kitchen/facts/facts-glazed-fruits.html ) or dried fruits infused with sugar ( http://www.bulkfoods.com/dried_fruits.htm ). One important thing is that there are many kinds of fruits mixed together with sugar on them. We say "frutas cristalizadas" in Portuguese.
