have you tried to walk into the local Rainsoft dealer and ask them if you can buy them? I don't know your location.

@H2O MAN,

I cleaned out the salt tank, I cleaned the filter, replaced the same salt that was in the tank, and a few days later the tank again is 1/2 water, 1/2 salt. I am sure that the hose is secured at the connector, but it is still getting water in it. Any suggestions? Should I have put new salt back in the tank opposed to the salt that was exposed to the water?

Is the system drawing any brine solution during back wash or
is the water level in the salt tank rising with each backwash?

If the water is making a one way trip into the salt tank you may
want to inspect the entire length of brine line for holes, cuts & cracks.

The black rubber shut-off valves dry rot in the valve, the old pale
white shut-off valves never failed in that fashion.

I have the apollo model rainsoft. between the motor and the gears( the shaft) there is a shear pin. If the valve gets clogged or any kind of build up it will shear the small pin. The motor will run but the gears will not turn. Hope this helps you.

I love my Rainsoft and have had the Gold series for 8 years now. I love the taste of my RO system. I gave my carbon tank to the Ecowater guy who was supposed to reinstall it my new place. This is the Ecowater dealer in Moscow Idaho. Charged me $500 and said they could not install it because my plumbing was not complete. How do I find a used Carbon tank?
