Ok, I gotta be honest here. I'm just curious. Am I still welcome here? Are my views still heard? I'm wondering because it just seems like over the last week or so no one has been responding to me very often. If I need to go that's fine. If what I have to say isn't relevant or anything anyone cares to hear that's fine too. Someone just say the word and I'll go if that's what needs to be done. Though I'd prefer not to. LOL

Er...huh?

I would not assume that people are deliberately not responding to you!

They are probably not responding to lots of people at the same time!

It seems to be one of those things that ebbs and flows......

But...just you wait...you make one little post that you instantly regret, and try to edit, but it is too late...EVERYONE will see that one, and you will wish you had never asked to be responded to!

Lol!!!!

Dlowan... umm yeah... not a clue here.. LOL but could you or anyone explain to me how this went from Setanta's original question to being yet another discussion about gay rights? I'm a little confused here...

I think you will have to read the whole thread...which means "I don't know."

You know, Phoenix, I really wanted to believe you were not going to do that. I believed you would not do that.

You make it sound as if she's exposed you as a bed-wetter to all your elementary school friends.

Hepzibah- I too, have had spells of time where people did not respond to me. Maybe they were not interested in what I had said at the time. I have written threads that I thought were "brilliant" , and gotten no responses. I think that since you are relatively new, not having lots of experience on this particular forum, and you might be taking things too personally.

I have found your postings very interesting, and thought provoking. I WAS a little annoyed by your recent spate of posts that bemoaned the idea that you were talking to yourself. So just be yourself, grow a little thicker skin, and keep on posting! Very Happy

No, but I would kill you just because I don't like you. Then Jesus would forgive me. Very Happy

That's a very rosy scenario, but of course people would just resort to good ole fashioned nationalism, tribalism, racism, idealism, etc. Name an ism, someone will kill for it.

Not bad, John.

Another member used to have a signature line something like ~"I used to pray for a bicycle. Then I found out it didn't work like that - so I stole one and prayed for forgiveness"

I like the sense of humor.

I would do absolutely nothing for jesus if it includes such acts as those. It is very unlikely that jesus would want you to carry out such actions, even if it were in his name. If such acts are being committed in his name, I would think that this is soiling his name rather than honouring it. I fail to see why people do things in the name of god anyway, usually these acts are for their own benefit.

HOW OLD ARE YOU GUYS ? ^^
