@Merry Andrew,

curiousity got the best of me, so i called...

~ THEY DON'T OPEN UNTIL 4:00PM . ON SUNDAY ~

sooooooo...
i figure we have two options --
. meet @ 4:00pm instead of 1:00pm
. choose a different place

what say you people?

@Region Philbis,
Damn!!

Good thing you called.

Suggestions? Can we postpone to 4 p.m.? (Personally, I'm equally amenable to a change of venue if the time is pretty well locked into everyone's schedule.)

@Merry Andrew,

we're flexible both time-wise and place-wise...

@Merry Andrew,
If need be, I can make it work either way -- different time and different place. But I would prefer a different place because of the drive home.

No suggestions though -- I'll just trust the locals.

either way works for me. I'll have less time to hang out if we do it later in the day.

@littlek,
Why don't we go with 1 PM but elsewhere? I realize that involves a decision but I think more time together would be nice, yes?

Thomas, are you limited re parking or pub transport?

@Region Philbis,
Nice catch, guys!
Stockyard at 1 is good for me.
Haven't been there in a long long time.

whew, I almost didn't check to make sure things were on track, was just gonna show up at 1 in Brookline. Fortunately I checked. I'd prefer 1:00 also. There's a steakhouse in Cambridge up Mass Ave from Porter Square about halfway to Rte. 16 which is supposed to be pretty good, where all the pols hang out, I'm told, which Chronicle has profiled as good and cheap, but I don't remember its name.

I'll go wherever the consensus is. What's the consensus.

What do they serve that Kris will want to eat? How veggie do steakhouses get?

So far it's Region, Jes (I assume), and me for the Stockyard. Who else?

@MontereyJack,

check out the menu on their website -- they have a larger selection than brookline...

Are you going to the Stockyard. MA and I went to the one in Ft. Worth three years ago. Quite good.
