how funny is this?

jespah e-mailed me this morning --

on her way to work she bumped into Walter, right outside South Station!

i can not confirm or deny whether she pointed him in the right direction, or, for that matter, whether he was in need of pointing...

Letty, Seaglass had to cancel out at nearly the last moment. She had planned to be "on the mainland" (as they say in Hawaii) and in Boston specifically but suddenly a number of things happened to prevent her getting to the Harvard commencement to see her godson get his undergraduate degree. Too complicated to go into here but it has to do with her moving from the big town of Hilo (she will sublet her two condos) and back into the interior wilds of the Big Island where she can paint and enjoy the cool morning air on the flanks of Mount Kiluea. She was heartbroken not to be able to meet everybody, especially Walter and Realjohnboy. She and The Virginian are both Scrabble freaks.

Soz, I'm so glad you like my shirt. Some people have told me it looks like I had a shirt made from left-over wallpaper. And under that table is a pair of cowboy boots but I don't think they got into any of the pics.

George, Chelsea, Everett and East Boston are all North-Northwest of Boston. Does that help any? (Also, you could'a picked up Route 99 w/o even crossing the bridge. Take the McGrath Highway. But who am I to criticize?)

Li'l K, thanks indeed for posting those pics. As the event recedes in time, the pictures bring back memories. They're great.

Love the pics and, as I said on the hamster dancing topic, there I was this AM, walking from the Chinatown bus stop to South Station (where I pick up the Silver Line) and I see this guy checkin' me out. So I'm thinking, you know, I'm too sexy for Southie or something or other and then, ha, it's Walter. He and Penny were outside for a little semi-fresh air.

I told my boss when I got to work, who asked me, So you run into folks from Deutscheland often?

I love that you met Walter that way, so, so, so picaresque. Or some other word. Really neat.

Ok, here's the one of Rosborne. I imagine there will be better ones from other cameras. Those are username's hands to the left of the frame.

Now the unbiased story: some girl rushed over me, tried to knock me down and kidnap Penny, said she would do better work than her other slave-hamsters.
I said, kindergarten, gesundheit, achtung, and some more German words commonly known in the USA .... and she finally calmed down, said she was jes and only joking and disappeared towards the lift.

Yes, it was really a good time in Boston with some superb A2K'ers!!!!

Merry Andrew you need a haircut and your eyebrows weeded. Get thee to a barber!

Walter so sorry to miss your party, I so wanted to meet you and I know I will someday.

And you RJB. never did figure out how to get into that on-line scrbble game.

Sigh,

Seaglass

There are definitely more -- I'll prolly get things developed (still using an analog camera, for shame!) in a few weeks but in the meantime I'm sure others will be posterized.

I was there, and it wasn't a giraffe, it was an armadillo. And it wasn't littlek, it was rosbourne. Couldn't have been a giraffe, John Harvard's Brewhouse is in the basement, and the ceiling is only four feet high. The oatmeal stout is good though.

The scrabble address is www.isc.ro The folks that run it are in Romania.
BTW, you might ask Jespah if she can get you back to your old Seaglass place. Worth a try

Well, I'm finally with gustavratzenhofer - In all my past associations with him - I have had doubts, none the least about knawing through leather straps.....

That was really great comedy.

More is better

Let's have some pix...........

Everyone is interested.............. Very Happy
