Looking fwd to: Two concerts this week! The Punch Brothers (one of my favorite bands of all time)! And Saturday? The bestest band to come from our northern neighbors, Canada: The New Pornographers!
wanting: I'm leading two separate meetups for the above mentioned concerts. I'm hoping that at least some people show up. My recent track record for hosting meetups has been sadsack.

Oh I do love the Punch Brothers! They are so great.

I am jealous!

My great party on the Fourth was soggy. We had flash floods and serious thunder boomers. We had a couple of hours during the day where the sun came out but then it was steamy. Not quite what I had imagined in my head.

Still...it was fun. I lauged. a lot.

wearing: torn, faded blue jean shorts...I love the fringe. white v neck T. Hair is in a miniscule pony tail. This is when I miss my long hair.

drinking: coffee with honey and cococut oil
eating: nothing. Thinking about it though.
doing: gearing up to finish the hallway. My new project is painting the subfloor in my hall. I pulled up the 11 year old carpet (yuck) and am now preparing to wood putty and sand it. I will paint it a Shelburne Buff and it will have a white stencil like this: down the center with the buff showing through. It's a lot of work though!

HEARING: A coworker trying to convince a Spanish lady in Spanish that she's calling the wrong number. That there is no person who works here at the firm with that name. They've been talking for over five minutes now.

That and classical music from the radio.

EATING: Nothing now.
DOING: Allegedly working.
Looking fwd to: Home warming potluck dinner with a couple of friends this Wednesday (tomorrow).

It poured that night. Still was an utterly incredible concert. Survived the deluge because the park sold ponchos for $5. They played until a quarter til midnight.

Wearing: Sombrero...nothing more, nothing less....it's not a fashion statement or anything, it's just really hot.
Hearing: The wind off the fan around said sombrero, I'm getting some really cool aerodynamic pressures with this thing.....I heard that's how Howard Hughes came up with his plane designs.....and undergarments....I like planes....and undergarments.
Eating: Popsicle....what flavor? Red!!!
Drinking: A little bit of popsicle juice, but not too much or you will ruin the whole popsicle experience.
Doing: Cleaning my desk...among the things I found......electric meter/voltage tester, battey tester, thing i use to change halogen bulbs, some poems that I wrote on scratch paper and napkins, 7 shotgun shells-20 gauge, several thumb drives, assorted screws and plumbing parts, one external hard drive, and a German phrase book
