waiting for some pix from last weekend (or mebbe this weekend?)

went to Hip Hip Hooray Cabaret last weekend - a few dance performances to watch and then an open dance floor

a pile of people didn't recognize me with my new hair and glasses (and all sequinny tight black dress over tall black boots - imagine a twirling dark disco ball with finger cymbals going full-on)

Looking forward to: a busy concert/dance weekend next week. this is mostly a rest weekend with just a bit of practicing ... and talks with a friend about possibly running dance parties on our side of the river

Still snowing? That is stinky. But it has been raining non-stop down here for well over a week. I have grown gills and webbed fingers and toes.

I like burned toast. And burned popcorn. I am weird like that...or maybe it's because that is the only way I seem to know how to make those two items and I have just gotten used to it.

I so relate!

I often wear in winter one or the other of my two sweatshirts, both wrong style-wise. My official ucla sweatshirt that I ordered online - decades after I studied and later on worked there - when I was chunkier than now, is fairly blousy. blousey? big. I must have ordered it in the nineties.

My early on a2k sweatshirt, back when that was a funding effort, also is too big but not as much so as the college one. But the collar area is quite ripply. Ok, wavy.
