If someone said to you, there is no radical left in the United States, only a radical right and a large center. How would you defend or rebut that statement?
I've heard it said that there hasn't been a radical leftist senator in this country since the 1920's and he was driven out of office and marked as a communist, and that the right is as far extreme today as the left was in the 1920's.
I would agree, of course I would labeled a radical left from the radical right for saying so.
A radical left compared to what?
Than define the radical Left. A fair and livable wage for a hard days work. A safe work environment. Financial security for a lifetime of labor. Clean cities and a clean environment. Access to good health care. Personal freedoms and dignity.
Those issues are not the radical left because they are things that most Americans want. They are centrist issues, so what is left?
I am the radical left in america
That list hardly defines what would be the radical left.
The complete eradication of religion in America. The complete eradication of the fur industry and timber industry. The halting of any and all animal testing. High levels of taxes to support grotesque social programs and socialized medicine. The death of capitalism, the end of democracy in favor of socialism or communism. The complete redistribution of wealth from those that earned it to those who "need" it.
Those are the issues of the radical left and they are out there.
those are not the issues of the radical left, that I know of. I'm thinking those are the issues that the radical right fanatasizes are the issues of the radical left.
Wow, no wonder our country is in such political uncertainty. You people are voters...
Politics is no joke! It is very important! But it's your right to joke. It's just to bad that you guys aren't willing to stand up for that right.

I hate to tell you this, but you are not! and though you say you are, you have yet to describe what is the radical left like I asked.

If Dys can't answer a question in one pithy sentence, it doesn't get answered.

Hey, BBB, here's two sentences, though short his are usually to the point; like this response.

Looks pretty clear based on this definition rover that there is no radical left in congress.
I love the arrogance of someone defining "the radical left" based on his own skewed view of reality.
Only he forget to mention "taking away the guns from all law-abiding citizens then locking up the gun owners for life."
That's on our list, too...

Nah! Dys just forgot to use a semi-colon instead of a period.

Is there a better time of day that I could try this again?
Then there can be no radical right, either. It's all a matter of perspective.

No, It's not!... I'm going to log off now so that I won't have to suffer any more of this!
