I am just curios to know when the classical expression "Real men don't eat sushi" first occurred and in what context? Anyone knows what year and perhaps who said it?
Real Men Don't Eat Quiche is the title of Bruce Feirstein's best-selling men's humour book. Published in 1982

Don't know when that phrase started, but last year, this real man DID eat sushi, and two hours later, was sick as a dog.So now,This real man does Not eat sushi. The nearest I get to raw fish now is smoked salmon
