Wow! Seriously, how much formal education have you had? Are you in high school yet? Because those are about 3rd grade writing skills you've just displayed...

Uh kickycan, we don't sacrifice animals to God anymore. That's Old Testament law.

You're always saying that. Why do you think god was such a jerk back then? And what made him so different in your mind? It's like if your husband beat you for twenty years, then one day, after killing his own son, he decided to be nice, and you're like, Oh god is good...

I don't get it.

kickycan,

I realize that you don't get it. That's why I don't really get upset with you too much.

Kickycan, in the Old Testament it was God and man. God on the end of one spectrum; pure and flawless. Man was on the other end; flawed and sinful.

Kickycan, God provided an intercessory for us. We don't face the punishments anymore. That is the important thing.

That is the most idiotic thing I've ever heard.

Let me ask you another question. If you had lived back in the days of the old testament, what do you think you would have thought of god then?

kickycan,

I would have thought the same thing as I do now. He is God. He gets to make the rules! I don't hate my parents because they punished me for breaking the rules, you know?

It's sad that you are using your brain to actually diminish your capacity for rational thought like this. How the hell are we supposed to evolve ideas if people purposefully do damage to their own ability to think in a lucid and sensible manner?

kickycan,

Don't you think I could ask you the same question? Don't you think it is hard for me to understand how you don't seem to have faith?

It may not make sense to you, but it makes sense to me and millions of others. So, does that mean millions of others (either with your belief set or mine) are wrong? How do we know which one is wrong or right:idea:

Yes, you could, but coming from you it wouldn't make a damn bit of sense, given the things you've said in the past that directly contradict that kind of thought.
