I CANNOT watch that commercial. It's just too awful.
I always wish that I had toenails on hinges.
I REALLY hate the ad where the whingey kid says "muuuum, josh kicked my chair".......
why do they have to play it so much?????? It could drive someone to suicide
All the current Burger King ads are annoying.
The first few with the guy in the Burger King costume, where he is standing in the window looking in....pretty creepy. I read somewhere that they resculpted his face, they toned it down some because of so many complaints.
Aren't all commercials annoying? It's just someone insulting your intelligence by trying to sell you something while you are sitting in your living room stuffing your face. I haven't had to watch one single commercial since I got my Tivo.
Burger King is really bad. They should get a new agency.
I also am annoyed by the Billy Mays Oxyclean and other ads. If Billy Mays did ads for Burger King, that would about do it.
I am also annoyed by drug commercials that don't indicate what the drug is for. "There's a new purple pill??? Ohmigosh, write me a prescription now!!" (this might just be the US where this is a problem- I think there's a legal reason they can't say what the drug is supposed to remedy)
A nearby city's PBS station advertises, "Everything you want in a television station, and more!" I despise this and other "and more" commercials. What could be 'more' than everything I want? Stuff I don't want.
Weight loss commericals that say "guaranteed you'll lose up to 10 lbs". So.... 1 ounce is 'up to 10 lbs', isn't it? So the only way you can collect on the guarantee is if you lose MORE than 10 lbs.
There is a radio ad I hear at night for Doctor's Night Guard, an anti-teeth-grinding product. They play this obnoxious recording of teeth-grinding and it gives me the willies.
Speaking of those drug commercials, the annoying 30 second warning run at the end, always spoken rapidly...
"Although safe for most people, X has been known to have side effects which may include: Itching, sweating, night chills, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, sleeplessness, excessive weight loss, lack of concentration, strokes, heart failure, liver and/or kidney malfunction. Women who are pregnant, nursing or ever plan to have children should not take X without first consulting their doctor, do not operate machinery while using this drug, as always if you should have any of these rare but common side effects consult a doctor or pharmacist..." oh yeah that is great encouragement to risk taking a medication which odds are, I had no need for to begin with.
I love the ads for the latest miracle weight loss concoction or pill or whatever and in tiny writing across the bottom of the screen - "In order to achieve weight loss a calorie controlled diet and exercise program is necessary".
