What can one say about Greg? He's a little mentally challenged, perhaps autistic, but, I do love the little furry fella.
But Warren (the Ape) Demontague is my hero. Articulate, accomplished thespian and pervert, and pissed off at the world for not worshipping him for it.

The show started on the Independent fim channel, hit the big time with a year on Fox (truly a social breakthrough, the only primetime show ever that dealt with the issues that affected fabricated Americans), and has now returned to IFC in a more bawdy form.
You can find the Fox shows on DVD with some hilarious commentary.

The new IFC incarnation show spoofs numerous films, sometimes in the most delightfully vulgar manner with puppet crazed versions of Annie Hall (where Greg and his lobster lover share hope and heartbreak in the Big Apple), Plan 9 from Outer Space, Easy Rider, Barton Fink, Sex Lies, and Videotapes, the Shankshaw Redemption (where Greg finds out about man on bunny love behind bars) and my favorite, a send-up on the Godfather called the Godpappy where the truth is finally revealed on how Kermit the Frog got his jig at Seseme Street, because the Godpappy had the severed, bloody head of a Muppet put in the bottom of Jim Henson's bed.
All in all great fun, and utter madness.
You can catch the show on IFC on Tuesdays and Friday nights.
