Watching a re-run of "The Office" earlier (UK version), I cringed through the appraisal scene, and suddenly remembered those awfully unfair comments that were made about me, when I was young enough to give a damn.
After my third or fourth school report, I realised that a pattern was forming, and decided to collect the various comments and remarks, and have since compiled quite a considerable list.
Now, I know that I haven't exactly been a model student or employee, but I think some of the following has been a little unfair.
VARIOUS SCHOOL AND JOB COMMENTS (in no particular order)
"Since his last report, he has reached rock bottom and has continued to dig"
"I would not allow this employee to breed"
"This employee is not so much of a has-been, but more of a definite won't be"
"Works well when under constant supervision and cornered like a rat in a trap"
"When he opens his mouth, it seems that it is only to change feet"
"He sets low personal standards and then constantly fails to achieve them"
"This student is depriving a village somewhere of an idiot"
"This employee will go far, and the sooner he starts, the better"
"I would like to go hunting with him sometime"
"He brings a lot of joy whenever he leaves the room"
Bloody vindictive, if you ask me!
Has anyone else ever been misunderstood by every single authority figure that they've worked with?
You can bring such joy to people. Why do you persist in complaining about it?

No, it's not a complaint as such, DD.....it's more a sort of bemusement thing, really.
Why would someone (let's take my old Physical Education master for instance) look at me, and say .....
"He has a full six pack, but lacks the plastic thing that holds it all together"
......or my old Maths teacher.....
"He is a gross ignoramus, 144 times worse than an ordinary one"
