Yes, but since there was a lead up to a war, new inquiries were made by the intelligence communities, in those inquiries, there was some doubt of stockpiles of WMD along with intelligence which said there was WMD . Those doubts were not expressed or shared freely to the public by the Bush administration. Hence the term, "cherry picking."

Typical example of the best efforts at liberal refuting.
Why don't you try to refute his point instead of playing "I know you are, but what am I?"
Democrats have nothing. Proof that pre-war intel was manipulated, bovine excrement! They have nothing. No coherent voice, no reasonable alternate policy, no initiatives untainted by redundancy, or in the case of some far left-wing politicians, outrageous catering to the liberal left. No, the only thing Democrats have are incessant criticisms from small men and women who through their incapability to think of solutions can only posture and point fingers. (How ironic that when those fingers were voting they all voted for the Iraq war. Tsk.)
Parker, we just can't tell you how we appreciate you joining A2K just in time to chime in on this. Thank you so much!

Always glad to be of service, Steve. Always glad to feel welcome too. You seem like quite the appreciative fellow.
Parker Cross- Thank you for your request that someone try to rebut rather than blindly denigrate what is presented.
First, there were fifteen agencies devoted to gathering intelligence for the USA. In the National Intelligence Estimates of 2002, where their collective views were summarized, one of the conclusions offered with "high confidence" was that:
"Iraq is continuing, and in some areas expanding its chemical, biological, nuclear and missile programs contrary to UN resolutions'
Secondly, the intelligence agencies of Britain, Germany, Russia,China, Israel, and even France agreed with the judgment above/.
Thirdly. Clinton said, in 1998, "If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish THE THREAT POSED BY IRAQ'S WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTIONPROGRAM
Albright, the Secy. of State said in 1998--
"Iraq is a long way from the USA but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risk that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies IS THE GREATEST SECURITY THREAT THAT WE FACE>'
Sandy Berger, Clinton's National Security Adviser( IF ANYONE SHOULD KNOW, HE SHOULD KNOW) said: "He( Saddam) will use those weapons of Mass Destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983"
AND LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST--Hillary Rodham Clinton, said in October 2002( and you know that she knows how to get any information she wishes to get because of her contacts, past and present)
"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Sadaam has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability and his nuclear program. HE HAS ALSO GIVEN AID COMFORT AND SANCTUARY TO TERRORISTS INCLUDING AL-QAEDA MEMBERS"
Hillary is NEVER wrong!!!!
