Set

This thread reminds me of an advertising campaign in Oz quite a few years ago, called Feed The Man Meat! Shocked (This was when everyone & their dog had decided that white meat was the only healthy meat & butchers decided they had to do something drastic.) So we had these ads that showed that a small steak had the equivalent amount of or iron as bucketfuls of spinach, etc, etc ..... I guess it worked, because red meat became more popular again - but only in sensible quantities & not every night, mind!

Anyway, about your current salad regime - you know, after your stomach shrinks you won't feel the hunger pangs at all! You might even decide there's something to be said for vegetarianism! You never know! Good luck with it! Surprised

But I have your very best interests at heart, doggy person! Carrots & lettuce & other such stuff are really quite delicious once one has acquired a taste for them! Don't knock 'em till you've tried 'em! Very Happy

You mean once one has been deprived of any real food to the extent that one staves off starvation by resorting to wabbit's fodder . . .

But at night I'd have these wonderful dreams
Some kind of sensuous treat
Not zucchini, fettucini or bulgar wheat
But a big warm bun and a huge hunk of meat

Cheeseburger in paradise
Heaven on earth with an onion slice
Not too particular, not too precise
I'm just a cheeseburger in paradise
