"when i grow up i want to be an accountant"????

I am currently attending college and one of my professors is convinced that all his students have wanted a career in accounting since they learned to count on their fingers.
so i got to thinking and i don't remember anyone in third grade declaring that they want to be an accountant when they grow up. does anyone actually like accounting? Are there kids out there who dream of becoming accountants? Personally i can't stand it and cant imagine getting any kind of enjoyment or satisfaction from a career in accounting. Of course, I wish i realized this before i was majoring in it....
