Oh man, I'd love to meet Phoenix...

Wouldn't it be cool if for all of our conservativeness in estimates a passel of us decide to come at the last minute and there are like 50 A2Kers or something?

Thanks for the update on the "Just the facts" thread, Thomas!

Oy, Walter. On Friday I spent the entire afternoon in the ER with my mom. I know that my presence there was very helpful to her, and I got a lot of things done of which she had no clue!

Osso- She IS in an assisted living facility, and they give her excellent care. It's just that she is at a point where there is a definite deterioration in her functioning, and even with the help from the facility, there are always loose ends that I am perpetually tying.

I solved the "parent" problem years ago by having an obit notice sent to the house.

I know, Phoenix. I was hoping for just a couple of days you could have substitute loose end tying help. And I know there are times you just can't really have anyone but you do that.

Spendy, for thoses with little money, being in prison is the best way to get really good medical treatment. Sad indeed.

Seconded.

Soz, I didn't realize A2K changed the rule regarding edits when I suggested your first post on the other thread made you uniquely qualified to provide updates of critical info. Didn't it used to allow edits indefinitely?

That changed a few months ago, Bill. Turns out that the edits took up a lot of... er... computer energy. Oh, why didn't I just wait until Soz would answer. Anyway, it was part of an a2k revamp after several months of the site slowing down. Now you can edit only up to the time someone else posts, so the old update of a post thing has gone in a sort of sacrifice for speed.

Now how am I going to pull an Olliver North before running for office? Laughing

Blatham just re-affirmed his 'probable' status on another thread. Exxxcellent!

So.... I'm afraid I will not make it to Chicago after all. I got a part in a musical (Cleopatra!) and that will run from April 20 through May 27, every Friday and Saturday. And I was sooo looking forward to it. I hope there will be live coverage!
