Have you never tried getting a combine harvester out of a big ditch and getting it going again. This doesn't take much energy really. I find it quite relaxing actually.
It's nearly as good as being asleep sometimes.
Now, there's something with which I have practical, working familiarity ... retrieving large pieces of equipment from places better it shouldn't have got to. Just getting a couple dozen tons of awkwardly shaped, relatively fragile, very expensive (Quarter-Million-Dollar range), 30' wide, 35' long, 18' high piece of gear out of a ditch authoritative enough to immobilize it (a combine is pretty terrain-capable, takes a lot to get one stuck), while seeing to it no further damage is done through the recovery process, is a helluva undertaking, shoots a good part of a workday, involves more real big equipment, plenty of real sturdy chain, some hefty slabs of lumber, a few heavy-duty jacks, several workers, a few hours, and generally results in tearing up a fair dollar amount of crop. Ain't no fun at all, and when its done, everybody's ready for a breather, if not a hot shower and a good, long sleep. 'Specially if the monster gets stuck at night - which is generally when that sorta thing happens.
