This is the end of my photo report (from the gathering on Sunday), leaving smiling faces behind me ... ...

Good photo set, Walter! My favorite was one of J_B, but there were a lot of other relaxed portraits.

I admit: the last pic was taken the other day at Chicago O'Hare airport

If someone is interested in my personal suitcase dilemna:
I'll get a new lock by Samsonite, completely free (of course, "lifelong warrant").

(And thanks for the compliments!)

Except for the people that went on the arch tour, guess where this is, and what is unique about this statue?

A few more photos, some from my walks, and some from the River Boat architecture tour. Now it's clear to me I'm missing a roll of color film, sheesh. Probably fell on the hotel room floor and I didn't see it, grumble.
This batch of photos unedited re sharpness, color, etc. (long story).

An early Monday morning view of the Cloud Gate, known as the Bean, at Millenium Park

View of the Richard Daley Center with Picasso sculture out front. That sculpture was controversial back at the time it was installed.. or at least I remember it as being controversial. Looks great to me...

Beautiful pictures Osso, Walter, and CI. You've all done a fabulous job of recording the gatherings and events.

From my standpoint, I'm so glad to have met you all. It was a pleasure doing a bit of the hosting and would happily do so again anytime. Thanks to each of you for coming to Chicago!

I have always prided myself on my ability to recognize pizza from various parts of the United States by closely examining the crust, cheese, and various toppings. The pizza pictured was difficult at first, actually one of toughest to identify in quite some time, but I feel fairly confident, mainly because of the coloration of the crust, that the pizza in question came from "Pete's Pizza."

If someone would verify this I would appreciate it, and, if correct, please to not gasp or whisper reverentially amongst yourself; it is an inexplicable talent that I have carried with me for quite some time.

Sorry Eva and Bill, I didn't mean to exclude you from the photo journalists. Everybody did a wonderful job. As the photophobe of the group, I think Walter finally captured how I see myself in that final shot. Maybe that's because my mouth is shut when I look in a mirror and it's flapping the rest of the time

That's Lake Point Tower, at one time (and perhaps it still is) the closest apartment building on the lake shore. Completely unhindered views of the water.

We should also share with our friends that Pete's Pizza is rated 8.8 out of 10.
