Governor Ishihara of Japan....would someone tell us more about the governor. I would be interested in how this plays out in the US and Japanese media.

If the only route to contain China is economic, then that means China is too dependent on its economy to want to start a war with the US in the first place as it is American Companies it is courting.

Frankly, I don't see China becoming democratic anytime soon.

The Communist Government so far has brought such far-reaching economic reforms that the people are content. The only reason the Soviet Union collapsed was because it was running out of funds.

The only reason the other Communist Governments collapse was poverty and a lack of a voice.

So far, in history, there has never been a Communist nation as rich as China. Who knows? Perhaps if the Soviet Union's economy was as good as China, maybe it wouldn't have collapsed either.

Chinese president Hu Jintao and his wife, Liu Yongqing, have arrived in Britain for a three-day state visit.

The couple will stay at Buckingham Palace and Mr Hu will visit 10 Downing Street for talks with Tony Blair.

The prime minister said expected protests over China's human rights records would be free to go ahead.

Who says we want a war with China?

Who say even if a war broke out we might finally have the guts to use every weapon in our arsenal to defeat them?
