People call Japanese foods as healthy foods,..
I went to Japanese restaurant yesterday, and I puked because it was so gross.
Sushi, sashimi, udon, yakitori, yakisoba, are all rubbish..
Never tasted any disgusting foods like Japanese foods.
Even dogs don't eat those rubbish foods.

Expensive and rubbish...

I would rather eat Mediterranean foods or European foods instead.

or else develop a more experienced sense of taste.
I find saurkraut or Ducks blood soup more off-putting than most japanese foods.

I assume youre still in school.

I was in Japan during my stint in the Navy. After my discharge, I moved to be near restaurants that served much of the same food, as I had come to love it so much. If you want something truly disgusting, try any form of okra.

Fried okra=the best.

I wonder, Jaffrey, how much Japanese food you've really tried. I mean, to codemn the entire menu of a culture?

If you are generally aversed to fish and rice, you might not fare so well. But there some great spicy noodle dishes to check out--my personal favorites.

Some kickass rice beers, too.

Japanese foods
Japanese foods are in general quite delicate in flavor, except for spicy pickles and wasabi (their equivalent of our horseradish). They are prepared with a minimum of cooking, and so retain their original texture and appearance.

Properly presented sushi is delicious; the strength of flavor depends on the particular fish which is used.

Perhaps you have a cultural aversion to raw foods, and feel that if something isn't cooked it isn't edible.

Anyway, I doubt that anyone will force you to eat sashimi, but you will miss a fine food experience if you don't try it.

boy, just look at that presentation of those haggies. The Scots really go all out for eye-appeal.

Japanese and Indian - best cuisines in the whole wide world... after a good serving of Halušky with bacon and žinčica, of course...

Dag, you got it! Japanese and Indian cuisine kick butt.

Somebody must have been mighty drunk when they came up with haggis. I'll try lots of things; but that's pretty ugly.

Japanese foods
If you don't think too much about the ingredients in a haggis, it's not too bad. Kind of blah, really.

But what about fried grasshoppers? Or fried ants? As long as you think of them as bugs, then - yuck! But if you think of them as crunchy protein and keep your mind off all the legs, they're ok. Sorta.

Shocked

Haggis and Black pudding are loverly!

Haggis is very spicy, best served with mashed turnips and potatoes....black pudding is great fried on toast with poached eggs (maybe not terribly healthy) - doesn't really matter what's in it if it tastes good!

yitwal, i'm as european as they get, but you'd have to fight me to get me to eat an escargot. thought oysters i love and it probably can't be that different. oysters, however, do not crawl around our garden and i didn't play with them as a kid. snails are quite lovely though, with their antennaes and whatnot.
black pudding i like, i think- if it's the same stuff as we make here, we call it the Pigfeast kasha. mmm. haggis i never tried, but am not very temtpted to either.
