i dabble into writing. articles for poli sci journals mostly. no fiction though yet, although i have one story based on a life of a friend on a back burner. as soon as i'm done with a dissertation (can't be soon enough) i want to steer towards journalism even more.

Hi--anyone in the club house?

I guess I qualify...I've written a bunch, more poetry than anything else. I have been published several times, about 5, but not for payment, of course.
'Poet' and 'paid' are antonyms, in case anyone didn't know.

Queen Annie, why don't you submit poetry to greeting card companies, they pay a lot.

Well, I get paid for my artwork, so that's not a problem, not getting paid for my poetry. I kind of like it that way, seems to me like it will keep my words more pure and truly inspired.

But thanks for the tip anyway.

I just changed website hosts, and haven't done much at my 'new home.' But there are a few here at EDIT (Moderator): Link Removed When I get some more 'moving in' done, I'll let you know.

I'm more of the amateur fantasy/fiction type of reader/writer, but I can't write short stories for peanuts.
I always drag details.

I have a couple of projects going
I wrote a game when I wagged school one day but then began writing the sequel as a complete story...

Haven't finished it yet, as is the case with three other novel ideas.

You wag school aye?

I've tried to make my own novels but so far its like this,

Once upon.... no wait... apon... no delete... upon a time there was...delete.....there lived a man....no...boy..no....there lived a young man....

^^and so on....
so I can't really write .......as this guy would put it:

Anyway, check out my website which is legally (I think) posted on my profile here at A2Kif you want to read some of my poems.

spidergal--

Good for you.

In general, novels have to be written down, not talked out. Use us for bitching and moaning and complaining and get the great artistry down on paper.

Thats very sound advice. I will not discuss it into much detail. But, here and there, I may need help. Like for my research ....you see.

Have you ever got anything published Ms Noddy?

spidergal--

Over the years I've written hundreds and thousands of words. Some are on first and second pages of litterary efforts. The others (until Abuzz and A2K) were in personal letters.

Gone, gone with the wind.

Spidergal--

Thank you.

My personal life is complicated right now and I can't set aside a regular time for creative activity. Still, I'm not dead yet.
