Henry Cisneros, the housing secretary (Clinton Adminstration) had an affair and apparently paid hush money, Henry pleaded guilty 6 years ago. We, the people, are still paying 2 mil a year via the house republicans for a independent counsel to investigate Henry. This inquiry has already consumed a decade and $21 million in vetting personal misbehavior that Mr. Cisneros confessed to six years ago, when he paid a $10,000 fine after a misdemeanor admission of lying about how much he paid a former mistress. Conservative polemicists successfully demanded that House Republicans keep Mr. Barrett's (the independent counsel) budget line open last spring after the Senate zeroed it out, embarrassed that his operation was proving to be not so much independent as perpetual.
Dang them oversexed Democrats. Lookit how they-all spendin' the taxpayers money gettin' investigated and all over their sex-shoe-al shenanigans. Wasn't bad enough the President his own self gettin' a bj in the Oval Office and all and wastin' the valuable (billable) time of Mr. Kenneth Star. Now the likes of a Cabinet member has to git in the act, too, costin' all of us hard-working Republicans tax money out'n the national treasury. Shameful, I say. Shameful.
