I was greatly amazed of public charges US Congress has brought against China now. There is no surprise for anyone that these accusations were based on documents, demonstrated China's attempts to get some restricted information about US military technologies by means of espionage. But it is rather strange for me that such data became known to the public. Usually such information has kept in secret by US counter-intelligence in order not to injury diplomatic contacts. In this case it's obvious that USA tries to rally public opinion against Republic of China, arriving at the unanimous conclusion to necessity of future war as it was in story of Iraq.
So.....let's get this straight, shall we.
China attempts to steal information from the USA, by means of espionage.
The US Government releases the details of this attempted theft.
You are saying that this whole issue is now the fault of the USA?
Wierd logic.
In the US we have something known as "the freedom of information act" - It allows the public to have access to records of government (alien concept in China). What goes on in Congress is no secret, it's broadcast live on TV and easily available in our libraries, independent newspapers and websites. If the American people are guilty of anything, it is that they do not pay attention to all the information supplied and aired in public. I think China needs such an act so we can stop getting these odd posts from Chinese people implying they are doing us a favor by being messengers.
