Counting clicks cannily causes Care2 crashes.

Does decorum demand dogged adherence to allitterative answers? I hope not 'cause I'm a-throwin' in the towel. (After all the rain we've had in these parts, it's soaked anyway. Speakin' of which, Danon, have you had a plethora of precipitation in your neck of the woods, too? I hear some parts of TX, not just the Gulf Coast, have been hit somewhat severly by rain recently.)

E ah ah Ahhhhhhhh!! Embarrassed Trying to figure this one out.

Does it go back to the 70's? That was the time when Austria invented the "A" as a symbol- made in Austria.

I know to say: I am a W.( I bin a Wehhhh)- meaning I am feeling low, made a bad mistake, feel a lot of self pity,

We have reports here about Massachusetts and New Jersey being partly flooded. State of Emergency was called. Hope you are all save.

Happy Birthday, Sumac.

Hey all you people on the west coast - heads up!!

Space Weather News for Oct. 15, 2005
http://spaceweather.com

According to folklore, October's full moon is called the "Hunter's Moon" or sometimes the "Blood Moon." It gets its name from hunters who tracked and killed their prey by autumn moonlight, stockpiling food for the winter ahead. The Hunter's Moon of 2005 is due on Oct. 17th.

If you live on the Pacific side of Earth (California to Alaska, Hawaii, Japan and Australia), you can see a partial eclipse of the Hunter's Moon. The best time to look is Monday morning at 5:00 a.m. PDT (Oct. 17, 1200 UT) when the edge of the Moon dips into the darkest part of Earth's shadow. Only a little bit of the Moon will be shaded. A casual observer might not even notice the eclipse; but if you know what to look for, you'll definitely see it.

Visit http://spaceweather.com for more information.

Wow, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUMAC!!

No, Merry Andrew, we have had no rain to speak of. Which is good for me - when it rains here - it rains GRASS. Then I have to ride around all day on the mower. grin That's not all bad though, I have a Craftsman 42 incher that's all SOUPED UP......bored and polished with supercharger tuned for nitro based ethanol mix (I make the ethel alcohol - grin) Don't believe it - it's just a lotta corn.

ul, During the late '70's friends from Vienna were visiting my then Viennese wife and I in Washington State. One morning at breakfast, one of them innocently asked in German for another egg. Then one of the others jokingly said in Viennese "E ah ah eye" Or, it sounded like that to me. We all had a big laugh and started yelling "E ah ah eye" Apparently, their Viennese for "Ich" sounds more like "E" and "auch" sounds like "ow" which they pronounced "ah" and the "ein" came out sounding like "ah" - all in good playfulness. And, of course the egg "Ei" sounded like itself. big grin. All good fun.

I drove two hours east, and the hamburgers drove an hour and a half west.
We met at Presquile Provincial Park to do the dog transfer.

Bailey and Cleo are now tucked in at Oma and Opa's for a coupla weeks.
I left the Trans-Canada Highway about half an hour from Presquile, and took the Apple Route in. Lovely.
At one town, Colborne, you could smell the ripe apples in the air.

The Big Apple is at Colborne. <the pie's not really that good>

Next Sunday, I hope to be meeting Squeedleboink and his family - and perhaps Roberta as well!
