Husker contracted some sort of bacterial infection south of the border and it recurs periodically. He ends up with IV antibiotics after suffering from swelling and high fevers (and a hospital stay, to boot).

littlek,

Thanx for updating me so quickly.

Husker, Jr., you tell your dad that Momma Angel is sending up prayers right now!

I don't know about the south of the border business but the infection is certainly recurring and very life threatening each time he deals with it. He is very aware by now of the cyclical process, and we all wonder if the hospital mds are, re his chart.

Husker, get better.

Momma Angel...Husker has gone to Mexico regularly with a group that does mission work there, building houses. He most likely contracted this recurrent staph infection there. They are notoriously deadly and difficult to eradicate. We all hold our breath every time he has a recurrence. Hope this fills you in.

If I haven't heard something by tomorrow morning, I'm going to try the hospital.
