"Armed dolphins, trained by the US military to shoot terrorists and pinpoint spies underwater, may be missing in the Gulf of Mexico."

Umm.,..
They carry weapons, might be a better description, I suppose.
Okay
, they're carrying weapons. Hope they've been well treated. All we need is a few squads of well finned dolphins cruising the Gulf - with an attitude.
Do they, by any chance, have frickin' lasers on their heads?
Well, if they're going to call in smart bombs, they've got to designate the target.
'My concern is that they have learnt to shoot at divers in wetsuits who have simulated terrorists in exercises. If divers or windsurfers are mistaken for a spy or suicide bomber and if equipped with special harnesses carrying toxic darts, they could fire,' he said. 'The darts are designed to put the target to sleep so they can be interrogated later, but what happens if the victim is not found for hours?'
This give the phrase "sleeping with the fishes" another meaning.
Thanks, ehBeth.
SPOILSPORT!
well it just sounded kinda hinky
ya know
Ah, now I recall where I heard something like this:
I came here to eat fish and take names, and I'm all outta fish.

No,
Joe, just guns. Only the sharks were given the lasers.
They are experts in unarmed combat.
