Former FEMA Director Michael Brown just resigned from FEMA.

Don't let the door hit Brown on his way out.

I should have also mentioned that the local guy lacked any experience in disaster planning, though, to his credit, he seems to have hired people who are qualified to work in such a program...

D'Art - I saw a huge article on your FEMA guy the other day. Ridiculous to put such people in positions dealing with life and death emergency situations.

Agreed, squinney. He was told to apply for the job by former Congresswoman Jennifer Dunn, a local GOP luminary who named one of her sons "Reagan." I will say no more...
