@The Anointed,
Matthew 20:20-21 is an edited copy of the account that James provided in Mark. There were only two people with Jesus so the account had to come from either John or James. The others became indignant when they heard about it. By default James is the author. Nicodemus wasn't present to hear that account and it was edited to include their mother present so that there would be confusion in the account. The answer Jesus gave in Matthew is the same answer that was documented in Mark, but their mother supposedly asked the question in Matthew. Having the same answer to different audiences is a sign of the fraudulent edit.

How could a man named Matthew who wasn't present provide eyewitness testimony of this event? He couldn't--it isn't possible so that is also evidence of fraud.

Why would we be Jewish? There were many Christian bodies before Constantine established the Roman church as the one belief that all others should agree with.

So how many Christian churches were established before The Catholic Church was established. For instance when were the Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, Episcopal, Anglican, Baptist, and all the other protestant religions established. All of the protestant churches considered themselves the Real Christian Church after they split away from the Catholic Church. There were a a ton of small Christian inspired groups that were not considered Catholic but they were not organized into a perfect (as in organized) Church. Sometimes listening to people like you makes my head hurt, you are so poorly informed. You base your faith on what YOU think it should be, and frankly all the Christian churches vary greatly. In other words, a Methodist Church in Boston may bar very different from a Methodist Church in Mississippi. Frankly, I think you do very poor research and simply preach whatever moves you personally on Monday thru Sunday....and everyday is different.

The founders of the Catholic church infiltrated the group of disciples that were starting the church and took control of it. Mark chapter 13 provides the account of Jesus warning his chosen disciples about what would happen. Revelation even tells you how the Catholics would take control of the New Covenant of Jesus. They are the beast who survived a fatal wound. Jesus told Peter he would be executed--he received a fatal wound. The Catholics stole the church using the name of Peter!

I would hate to sound insulting, but you have created a novel interpretation of why people love to hate Catholics.....it's not true, but it is novel.

But what is true, is the fact that before Emperor Constantine came on the scene, there were many religious bodies all calling themselves Christians, with no spiritual head to this body of quarrelling and abusive body.

It was Emperor Constantine who decided to personally summon all the opposing and quarrelling Christian leaders to the first ever ‘World Council’. The date was 325 AD, in the town of Nicaea, where Constantine was to resolve the bitter source of contention between those differing bodies of beliefs. After Constantine the Judge, had made his decision on which belief the Christians should follow, he urged all council delegates to sign the revised formula as a statement of faith on which all Christians should in the future agree. Here began the unified ROMAN Christian church.

From the book--- “Jesus The Evidence,” by Ian Wilson. P. 144. “The Middle Ages, for the Jews at least, began with the advent to power of Constantine the Great. He was the first Roman Emperor to issue laws which radically limited the rights of the Jews as citizens’ of the Roman Empire, a right conferred on them by Caracalla in 212. As Constantine’s church grew in power it influenced the emperors to limit further the civil and political rights of the Jews.

But if times were again difficult for the Jews, for the Christian Gnostics and other fringe groups they were impossible. The books of Arius and his sympathizers were ordered to be burnt, and a reign of terror proclaimed for all those who did not conform with the new official Christian line decided upon by Emperor Constantine.

:Understand now by this present statute, Novatians, Valentinians, Marcionites, Paulinians, you who are called Cataphrygians. . . . with what a tissue of lies and vanities, with what destructive and venomous errors, your doctrines are inextricably woven! We give you warning . . . .Let none of you presume, from this time forward, to meet in congregations. To prevent this, we command that you be deprived of all the houses in which you have been accustomed to meet . . . . and that these house’s, should be handed over immediately to the catholic/ i.e. universal church.

Within a generation, hardly leaving a trace of their existence for posterity, the great majority of these groups simply died away as successive Christian emperors reiterated the policies that Constantine had pursued.”
