oh you mean American football played with a rugby ball?

well have fun.

Actually, the origins of the game as played in the United States and Canada are not far from rugby.

Here is an account of the 1874 game between Harvard University and McGill University (Montréal) from which the modern rules have evolved. Canadian and American rules have diverged somewhat, but players from the CFL and NFL essentially play the same game.

Whoo-hoo!!!

Lifelong fan in 30 minutes, is it a record?

(Well, we'll see how the rest of the game goes...)

Daaaamn!!!!

Being a rabid fan is so time consuming though, and I can't ever seem to do it halfway...

(Yes I'm talking to myself, hey if Kicky can... if anyone else is watching, feel free to chime in...)

Since I've already gone off the talking-to-myself deep end...

It's so weird to watch college football after a decade or so of just watching pro. It's so... amateurish. All that running backwards and breaking flimsy tackles.

Oh and since there isn't any real-time reference, the first post in this run was referring to the super-long TD pass, the second was the interception (FG), the third was the fumble recovery (FG). (In other words, turned on the game and saw 13 points get scored boom boom boom.)

Happy dance!!!

Fighting compulsion to go buy lots of red, white, and gray clothes with marijuana leaves on them... wait, that's not quite right...

Someone's here!!

I'm a new enough fan that I don't even know what the OSU rallying cry is. I'm starting to say "Go Big Red!" but that's the wrong Big 10 red guys (my alma mater, UW-Madison).

Sozobe, I don't really watch football BUT the Tx/OU game is a must in this town, as well as the Tx/TxA&M game. (however there I cheer for the Aggies)
The funny thing is that here you do read bummer stickers that read:" OU sucks!" It is very funny!

Ah, that makes sense. Was wondering if you'd just the "S" out and were referring to us. (See, I'm saying "us" already. So doomed.)
