I am looking for the name of a city in New York state that derives its name from a Dutch word meaning 'young gentleman' or 'young lord'.
Can anybody help me with this please??
Look at the list in the link, I did not look at all the list.

Is it NEW YORK
in honor of the Duke of York
Interesting. I don't have Yonkers on the link I posted. So, it's the lord of Philipsburgh?
Sir William Yonge, I see.
Thanks for everybodys help, and i am certain the answer i need is Yonkers.
