In the days after his election, Trump is publicizing possible cabinet pics and making rather startling promises and statements to the electorate, as are Elon Musk and VP-elect, JD Vance.

X denizens are trending requests to Trump—and at least one trending request to block Nikki Haley and Mike Pompeo from the Trump cabinet has been agreed to by Trump on his own social media and on X. Definitely not business as usual.

This thread seeks to record these trends, Trump administration promises, various responses from the public, what is said, what is done, and the results.

On November 8 & 9, a multitude of tweets to Donald Trump’s X account advised him to avoid inviting both Nikki Haley and Mike Pompeo into his cabinet.

#NoPompeo trended at #1 for a few hours.

In November 9, Trump posted on his social media that he would not be inviting Pompeo or Haley into his administration.

Trump has promised to push a Constitutional amendment for term limits on members of Congress.

This is incredibly popular with conservatives, Independents, and lefties.

A beginning trend on X is pushing Colonel Douglas MacGregor for the role of Secretary of Defense, the latest in a series of forceful anti-neocon cabinet suggestions.

So many contained in this video, mostly aimed at the trans community.

1. Revoke Biden’s policies approving gender-affirming care (not sure what those policies specify at the moment—will come back with more info about that in the coming days)

2. Sign an EO ordering federal agencies to cease promotion / instructing of sex and gender transition.

3. Stop the use of Federal monies posing for these services.

4. Declare that hospitals and other medical facilities performing gender reassignment surgery on minors will not meet federal standards for Medicare and Medicaid standards, and will be terminated from those programs immediately.

5. Instruct the DOJ to investigate Big Pharma and large hospitals to determine if they have covered up long term consequences for patients of gender reassignment surgery.

6. Support ‘Right of Action’ for patients who’ve been injured by chemical, psychological, or surgical gender reassignment services enabling them to sue doctors, hospitals, surgeons, etc

7. Recognize only two genders.

8. No ‘men’ participating in women’s sports.

9. Credentialing consequences for teachers telling students they might be ‘trapped’ in the wrong body.

This could be a useful repository for the Trump saga. Keeping track of notions and events as it unfolds.

Trump chose Israel-first Elise Stefanik as UN Ambassador. Possibly as rabid a Zionist as his last pick, Nikki Haley.

Stefanik came up on my radar as a virulent attacker of American college students as they exercised their Constitutional rights to protest and peaceful assembly against genocide.

Saw a New Republic headline asserting that Trump is already sick of Elon Musk's involvement.

@edgarblythe,
They're most certainly not peas in a pod, and Elon has several personal agendas that he would be pushing per se.

@edgarblythe,
Israel is very tired of Musk’s X allowing criticism of Israel—and sharing footage of the truth about Israelis starting the violence in Amsterdam etc.

Israel owns Trump.

I don’t think Elon will make it another month in the King’s grace.

Mike Adams I have a very powerful broadcast for you today that celebrates Trump's pick of Matt Gaetz for AG, while warning about Hegseth as Secretary of Defense.

Hegseth is an end times Armageddon accelerationist sporting tattoos that invoke Bible scripture promising war, not peace. He's also fully in support of Israel's ongoing war crimes and ethnic cleansing, and he thinks we should bomb schools, universities and churches in Iran.

How are these radicals still in any position of influence?

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for mentioning Hegseth. Who is the other EndTimes accelerationist appointed… Huckabee! Mike Huckabee, ambassador to Israel.

(Edited an error)

It is a astonishing that EndTimes accelerationists can get anywhere near policy-making positions in any government. And when I hear elected politicians quote scripture from government platforms, it’s like nails on a chalkboard.

There are several citizen groups who saw this coming, and are in talks to unite against the administration for these and other decisions.

I have to say I was secretly hoping Matt Gaetz would get a chance to clean out the DOJ and that Kennedy also gets a chance to investigate and prosecute to the full extent of the law those who have poisoned us in every imaginable way. The odds are heavily against both of them being allowed to complete these massive projects against these tyrannical powers.

A lot to digest.

Haven’t even mentioned Tulsi…

Thune replaces McConnell

https://rollcall.com/2024/11/13/thune-elected-to-replace-mcconnell-as-next-senate-gop-leader/

Excerpt—

Sen. John Thune on Wednesday was elected the next Senate majority leader, as Republicans are set to take over the chamber in January — and with a demanding President-elect Donald Trump poised to return to power.

Having defeated Texas Sen. John Cornyn and Florida Sen. Rick Scott, the fourth-term South Dakotan will replace Mitch McConnell of Kentucky in January as the chamber’s top Republican. McConnell had held the top GOP spot since taking his party’s leadership reins in early 2007, making him minority leader in six Congresses and majority leader in three Congresses.

Thune defeated Cornyn 29-24 on the day’s second ballot, with Scott eliminated from contention after the first ballot, according to a source inside the Capitol’s Old Senate Chamber, where Republicans chose their next leader.

Senate Republicans also selected Sens. James Lankford, R-Okla., as Republican Conference vice chair; Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., as Republican Policy Committee chair; John Barrasso, R-Wyo., as assistant majority leader; Tim Scott, R-S.C., as National Republican Senatorial Committee chair; and Tom Cotton, R-Ark., as Republican Conference chair.

At a press conference after the secret ballot votes Wednesday, Thune, flanked by the other members of the incoming leadership team, said Republicans would look to roll back parts of the Biden administration’s agenda while also addressing immigration and energy policies.

“We have a mandate from the American people, a mandate not only to clean up the mess left by the Biden-Harris-Schumer agenda, but also to deliver on President Trump’s priorities,” Thune said.

I expect Gaetz to have an exceptionally hard time getting approved, and that’sa pity. He’s a rare member of Congress who doesn’t take AIPAC money.

Tulsi is like Trump to me. She’s held so many positions on so many topics, I have no idea what to expect from her. I believe she’s an Islamophobe, but so is every elected official in the West because of the current love of shekels. American pro-Palestinian protesters are being referred to as terrorists. It’s a dirtier world than I thought possible. I’m glad my parents aren’t here to see it.

The Tulsi / Putin puppet narrative is utterly ridiculous, but she seems completely untethered from any coherent philosophy because of switching allegiances or morals or something.

I doubt she’d even get facts at ‘security’ briefings anyway. The Deep State—unless the Trump administration can somehow remove them or slow their roll substantially by removing *enough* of them—will likely lie to the administration and do what they please without Trump’s authorization.

I think we’re about to find out just how powerful the unelected Monster’s Ball has become.
