pates -- their defense is in sync for the first time all year.

they'll be focusing on denver's ground game, and i doubt plummer's got what it takes to orchestrate an aerial assault...

Here's hoping either the Seahawks or the Steelers make it to the big dance.

Because I HATE Denver and who cares about Carolina?

I predict a Seahawks championship.

Nothing personal. Well...

1998, the Broncos defeat the Packers in the Superbowl. I'm a Green Bay fan.

Also, Bill Romanowski was a poor sport and a cheat. And Denver never suffers a significant slump. They're always in the playoffs. It's easier to root for teams like the Seahawks, for example, who have sucked for a long time. That is, if your team didn't make the playoffs and you have to root for someone else.

Go, Seahawks. Seattle, not known for fielding championship pro squads, will go nuts if they win. To wit:

Mariners: 0 (no World Series appearances)
Seahawks: 0 (no Super Bowls)
Sonices: 1 (in 1978, if memory serves)

You are right Bill Romanowski is a poor sport and many other things. But he does not play for Denver anymore and that is a good thing. O and about that defeat in 1998 that was the best thing ever for a Bronco fan.

Well, naturally. If you watch football, your team winning the Superbowl tends to be the best thing ever. Bronco fan or no.

Yep, I was quite wrong. Smile

Still, we got a good matchup - east vs. west for a change.

Now, if only something could be done about the venue....

Here's my prediction. As in all Superbowls held indoors in the past 10 years, you will watch the second half through a fog created by halftime pyrotechnics.

The Rolling Stones know nothing about football. They are only there to promote themselves. Smoke it up.
