Help me fill up our collective junk drawer with ... well... junk. Some may say ... much needed and useful junk. Others would just call it junk.

I'll start by adding:
Five midsized elastics (partially dried out so you have a 65% chance of it instantly breaking when you try to use it).

I lived in many houses with metal skewers in junk drawers where I had never seen metal skewers being used.
They were just naturally occurring items.
Assortment of randomly collected rubber bands.
Anything that would really come in handy three weeks after I decide I don't need it anymore
