He thinks that it makes the Biden administration look bad. Most people were happy to see them come home so he feels he needs to "rain on the parade".


I suspect that his hard core supporters – maybe a third of the population – liked it because they like everything he says.

I've been happy ever since Obama kicked them out of their Mission on the Easter Shore........now we don't have to deal with drunk Russians climbing all over the port and city of Annapolis. If I was anxious to see drunk Russians, I suppose I would travel to their camps off in the distance.........or maybe not.

Reality is that this is a great deal for the US and Europe. The West is getting back a group of political prisoners and returning spies. There were also prisoner deals in the Trump administration with Iran, the Taliban and the Houthis.
