College sophomores mostly. Computer Studio I which is an introduction course to the computer as a tool of graphic design as well as an introduction to software like Adobe Ilustrator, Photoshop and Indesign.

It's my Alma Mater which is pretty cool. I'll get to work with a couple of teachers that are still there that I really got along with while I was there. It's just two classes, two nights a week.

Perhaps you'd like to come to Milwaukee for a visit. You could be a guest speaker or something.

Cool, JP. Any prior experience, or is this a learning experience for you as well?

I come from a family of teachers if that matters for anything. Plus, I have been in several training positions which should help some, but no actual teaching experience though.

It should be pretty interesting. So far I have gotten no direction at all from the school. They pretty much said, "You're hired. Show up on the 30th and teach." It really is my kind of place. It seems like I can pretty much run the class as I see fit and only have to follow a very rough outline that is set by the school. One of the guys who is teaching a different section said he pretty much just shows up and wings it. He said you really never know what you are going to get until the first day of class so it is difficult to plan for.

That is good by me too... I'm good at winging things.

First class down for the night. One more to go.

I don't think it went to bad. First day of class is always boring... right???

I had a good start... it got a bit rough when I realized I went through most of my material in like 45 minutes and still had two hours to go. But I recovered nicely once i got into the swing of things. Class two should go much smoother.

Second night of classes last night went pretty well. I got them working in class and asking questions. Some of them really took off and ran with it. They were a bit more lively this time around as well. So far so good.
