A few Bush supporters went to the edge of the anti-war camp on Saturday, trying to remove some of the hundreds of white crosses bearing fallen soldiers' names. in one heated moment, members of the pro-Bush crowd turned on what they mistakenly thought were a group of anti-war protesters, cursing them, threatening them and tearing down their signs. A police officer rushed the group to safety.

Why didn't the author of this thread post the article instead of just the link? I posted that portion of the article that was relevant to me.

jeez, who would dare. bbb gets spanked all the time for posting complete articles.

and don't you like the idea that you can actually go to the source and read the bonifide, unmanipulated article ?

I know how the MSM operates, though. I highly suspect some exaggeration on their part concerning the paragraph you've chosen to focus on.

I understand why some here choose to give a pass to those in Crawford who choose to ignore the wishes and concise requests of certain family members. Cindy Sheehan does not speak for them. She knows that, but she just doesn't care.

My only comment concerned those families who have stated categorically that Cindy Sheehan does not speak for them and have asked that their loved ones' names not be exploited for her political purposes. She and her loony followers have ignored those requests.

I'm sure few remember (conveniently) "Great Uniter" was one of jrs. big selling points when he first campaigned to steal America.

The proof is in front of your eyes and ears. He is an utter failure. As a President and a man.
