Many nominal christians harbor the mistaken belief that the end time can not come unless natural Jews inhabit the ancestral Israel. This is one reason for Anglo American support of post WWII occupation of Palestine. There is really no great love for Jews involved; hence the insensitive comments.

Just 2 questions:

1)Given that Jews in Israel do not believe that Jesus is the son of God,
why do the Born Agains want to defend and protect Israel? Wouldn't the Jews be considered the anti-Christ, as they are anti Christ?

2)At least Moslems recognize Jesus. The Jews do not even do that.

Would like some well thought out answers, please, not hysterical comments from the S&R threads.

because the old testament is the torah, and christians cant disown the old testament, if they do then theyd have to disown their whole religion. they have to obey the mosaic law. remember christianity was never meant to happen (or never meant to happen the way it did), jesus came for the jews. it was paul that came up with christianity so that he could differ with the rest.

Here's another site.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/End_times

The story is Jews must occupy their old homeland and build a Temple, the Third Temple.

Next you need chaos. War is great. It's a sign of the End of Times. Hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes and erupting volcanoes are even better. This is God signaling to his believers that the end is near.

The believers will be whisked to God's side and all others, including ali87, will remain here on earth gashing their teeth and dying horrible deaths.

And they tell me God is good.

Good point.

Part of it has to do with a failure to identify the individuals mentioned in Revelation Chapter 7 as well as the naive belief that the battle of Armageddon must be fought at the literal site of Megiddo.
