Oh, I know it is Smile But even though we don't have the Abuzz Beehive technology, some things could be done, I guess... I mean, I don't want to seem like I'm dropping in here to tell you it's bad - it isn't Smile But e.g. one of the charms of Abuzz was the matching algorithm - that you would be notified of new threads that matched your likings. That was really useful.

I suppose like any other forums, it takes some getting use to. I'm pretty set in my ways too and it took me awhile to get use to the format, but in no time I was hooked. The quality of the people here is what's important to me and the fact that we have mods to prevent abuse is fantastic :-D

Hehe... oh, I'm just saying... however, what I would like is the actual text of what has been said in the email notification Smile

I know you can go to your profile and change the settings so you recieve updates on the topics you're involved in, but since I don't use it, I'm not sure what you get.

Yeah, that would be nice, especially when your computer is vv slow, like mine is.

But I daren't look a gift horse in the mouth, as they say.

My mailbox was flooded with notices of new postings so I turned them off. Now I just skim through my posts and new posts.

Well, it wouldn't have to be obligational. But if the eMail updates are sent out anyway, they might as well contain the text of the posting that triggered them...
