Minnesota has Jesse Ventura. California has Ahnold. Now Kinky Friedman is running for governor of Texas.
As far as the American electorate is concerned, the line between Show Biz and Practical Politics seems to be more and more blurred.
Candidates have always tried to be entertaining as a way of putting their messages across to the voters. Now Entertainers are being entertaining and voters are electing them.
Why?
