Whaaat?

Meaning. Meaning, please! Laughing

Reyn, being of Dutch extraction, you should certainly know that word.

Laughing Being born Dutch doesn't guarantee you that you know the language very well. I came to Canada when I was 5, and my parents spoke English in our house to help us aclimatize in school.

I can only recognize Dutch words when they are spoken to me slowly.

By the way, are you sure that word is Dutch?

No, the word is actually German. But the languages are similar enough that I thought a Dutch speaker would recognize that Weltschmertz literally means "the world's pain." It means a kind of stress or mild depression at the way things are going in this sad world.

PLINEAN-when , like, something goes off, it like blows itself up too. It was named after Pliny the elder, who, in his role as Empirical engineer, went over the Bay of Naples to see what all that smoke was in 79AD. BAWHHOOM
It was Vesuvius. Bet he felt stupid

Useful, but not a good word to find in one of my files. It means someone's going to have a very bad time of it.
