Welcome back, dys, to you and your lady. Fabulous pictures, buddy. What t-shirt is Diane wearing?

Is that Merlot? You and Diane look wonderful. Snap beans, as my mom used to call them.

What breathtaking views.

Dys
Aha! You took all the ripe tomatoes from your garden on your trip. That's why I couldn't find any to steal from your back yard while you were gone. Drat!

it's those damn ferriners what did it, they got here just a few thousand years before we did and named up the places like they owned them. (not even did they have green cards)

the original catwalk was just wooden timbers anchored into the walls of the canyon, the miners and social support personel who lived in the mining town at the top of the canyon numbered between 2,000 and 4,000. there are about 75 buildings still standing from the original town.

Osso, I was sooo proud of Sally--she didn't object at all to the catwalk, even though you can see through the mesh-like floor. She is a cool little customer.

I realized on this trip that if Dys and I travel every week to a new place, we wouldn't be able to see all of the beautiful places in New Mexico, not to mention Colorado. I can't think of anything better to do with the rest of our lives than to seek out one more brilliant sunset, another steep mountain road, one more mountain stream full of trout, one more mysterious village of cliff dwelling, breathtakingly beautiful desert views, a lifetime of beauty. We are incredibly lucky to have all this beauty so near to our home and to our hearts.

Roger, I always thought the Mogollons were pronounced Muggy-yon. Where's an old mountain man when you need one?
