Hmmm. There's John's new avatar:

A couple of bottles, a baseball cap
A Stone henge t-shirt,
Tobacco's been spat.
The bases are loaded,
Now let's see him run.
Slide, John of England.
I'm along for the fun.

Ms Clary ponders under holly...
Is Ms. Piffka a bit "too" jolly?
Has she been hitting rum or gin
While bringing the new year '04 in?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

We December 17 gals stick together. I'm on my 4th glass of a very acceptable cotes de rhone villages, and the holly's definitely askew. Only 1 and a quarter hours to go here!

Ah, OAK, this is always a lame duck seaon at the end of even numbered years--this season in '04 may see (we would hope at any event) a great accretion of such foul, . . . er fowl, in our nation's capital . . .

Ode to twisted ferret:

There's no way to twist a ferret.
He's supple and lithe and his face
Doth merit a smile and an urge
To kiss his wet nose.

He may steal from your treasures,
And ferret them away in some hidden cache,
But his look of repentance
Draws a sigh of relentence
From all who know where he goes.

Love it Setana. An encore on my side of the Big Sea wouldn't go amiss.

and, bye the way, it's "duct tape" (for taping ducts); just ask Red Green!

if it were used on 'ducks', then "Ducks Unlimited" would become an S&M club!

Good grief. Bo be back. As to the duck tape, we were just havin' a little pun in the sun, Toronto.

You might appreciate the fact that there's a star out there somewhere with my son's name on it.

Darling, Je Vous Aime Beaucoup
(Anna Sosenko)

Darling, je vous aime beaucoup,
Je ne sais pas what to do.
You know you've completely
Stolen my heart.

Morning, noon and night-time too
Toujours, wondering what to do,
That's the way I've felt
Right from the start.

Ah, cherie,
My love for you is très, très fort.
Wish my French were good enough,
I'd tell you so much more.

But I hope that you'll compris
All the things you mean to me.
Darling, je vous aime beaucoup,
I love you, yes I do.

Sheeeeze. I got this from Nat Cole's lyric page and the damn spelling is wrong, beau. Laughing

Did you know that Tony's wife's name is Cherie?

You thought Cleo was so cute,
And Caesar salad went caput

You didn't know that patera's asp
Was just a fellow in the grass.
