Face Tattoos

No idea. When I was in high school, nobody would do a tattoo on face or neck. I think hands were also off limits. As you note, they are now on faces. Sometimes on bald heads, just in case we don't notice the lack of hair.

The first tattoos I ever saw on people were on WWII Navy guys mowing their lawns without shirts and arm tattoos on display. Tattoos back then were unsophisticated but usually in reverence to the former war experience. You didn't see full arm tattoos unless you were visiting the tattooed lady at a carnival. If I were 20 years younger, I'd be investing in a tattoo removal clinic, something tells me they will be racking in the cash starting in the next 20 years.

100% agree - tattoos have been going crazy - meaning almost everyone is getting one - and not just one; but multiple and bigger ones.

Not all these people thought it through or else they thought it through but do they really know what they are going to feel about this at 30, 4o or 50? It isn't like a piercing where you can close it up or at least not wear anything in the piercing. It is there permanently unless you get surgery to remove it. Yeah that f* U on your face might not look so good at the PTA meeting 20 years later when you grow up.

I'd think those phone customer service reps might be hired on the spot - exactly the type they would want. Hmm maybe Barry has just such a tattoo.

Not all cultures have such an aversion to tattoos and I think you are seeing a lot more acceptance of skin art on the under 25 crowd. I don't think face tattoos will ever really take off, but I'm seeing a lot more tattoos on arms and legs (and who knows about other locations) and I think it's here to stay.

I think it depends on the tattoo - look at some of these, lol.

I saw a young guy walking down the street, probably in his early twenties, half of his face was tattooed. I thought I wonder what kind of job he’s going to get.
