Text Messages and spam calls

I've got a Nokia, it doesn't do pictures. I don't get many spam texts.

Oh it's every day for me, it must block the spam calls from leaving a voice mail because I never get a voice mail from a spam call, unless they just don't leave me one.

can you block them in Contacts?

I'm going to have to check my settings, there must be a way of blocking them as well.

I get spam texts increasingly, I think because I ignore calls from numbers not recognized as friends or business concerns.

Yep increasing more every day. Most of the spam text are from realtors saying they want to buy the house!

Realtor calls have all become texts for me also.

I find spam calls do not leave messages or at least the majority do not...I get a half dozen or more a day on my land line. I simply do not answer a number I don't know or seems suspect. Very rare there is a message ...I call for messages and it is just dead air.

I rarely get spam texts ...a rare one here or there. I also do not get many spam calls on my cell...except for that Asian lady who calls frequently I keep telling her I do not speak any Asian dialect but she keeps calling me back.

I don't block any calls so not sure why I get so few on my cell..not complaining
