Lord lordy, that's some fine stuff. Arteries and waistline be damned. I just ate the EB sundae; a mix of thawed frozen berries, a handful of walnuts, and some scoops of cherry chocolate chip ice cream on top.
Yes, Edgar, but after that experience, what can you do in life that won't be a let-down?
Who cares? I go to my bed happy tonight.
Ice cream and fruit should never be mixed! For that matter, fruit should never be served as dessert. Dessert should always be completely bad for you and should almost always contain some sort of rich chocolate.
Just my philosphy about dessert.
What, Linkat, no peach ice cream? The world would be a smaller place...
Despise the taste of peach - so yeah basically no peach ice cream.
My current favorite flavor is Cursed Reversed. For those not in New England it first came out last year and was called Reverse the Curse in hopes of helping our beloved Red Sox. Well it worked and it tastes delicious. Vanilla ice cream and chocolate swirls with small chocolate covered caramel cups and chocolate covered peanuts.
Ask Edgar about Blue Bell ice cream, possibly the best thing to come out of Texas.
Sell all you can and eat the rest.
I think fruit for desert is fine! Especially if you are mixing it -- love sorbet and ice cream and brownies, cookies, cake -- but I am not as much of a candy fan
My hat is off to you, Edgar.
It sounds absolutely delicious.
I'm having a bit of vanilla this eve, with nothing extra.
In response to the ttile of this thread...
WHERE? WHERE?
furiously peeking into everyone's mouths...
I thought you were going to tell me cherry chocolate chip ice cream gives you cancer. I gonna go get some ice cream, you scared me.
If it was in the food and drink section - probably not so much cancer as fat - or that its yummy!! But if it was in the medical section...I've never touching it again.
Everything gives you cancer.
spontaneous Ice cream poem
Ice cream. the last safe vice.
A haunting whisper from an arctic alcove
Is that you chunky monkey?
marshmallows, oh how they mock me
(sorry no more, writers block.I'm going to the market to get more inspiration)
None of that crappy yogurt.

I had a hot fudge sundae for lunch the other day!
