@Linkat,

theory --

the C's have lulled GS into a false sense of security by playing like crap, and starting tonight will unleash their full wrath... Warriors won't know what hit 'em...

R(that's my story and i'm stickin' with it)P

Just like Rocky when he was getting his head bashed in by Mr. T - his coaching team was yelling at him to get out of the way - while Rocky was screaming I know what I'm doing! And voila - Rocky knew better that he had little brain matter so that he could take a bashing in, tire out Mr. T and "lull him into a false sense of security" and come back and be victorious.

@Linkat,
Sawx Still need a decent reliever. Hoping they find one as the ones they have now really suck.

When I was a boy in Fresno, we had just newspaper and radio for sports. The only teams anyone even mentioned that I recall were the Yanks against the Brooklyn Dodgers and a rare mention of Willie Mays. With Yogi and Mickey and the rest, the Yanks were my heroes. So I have a nostalgic love for the team that lingers. But my real favorite these days are spelled A-s-t-r-o-s.

@edgarblythe,
As a Bostonian, I and many friends, neighbors and family have a nostalgic hate for the Yankees. It makes it fun when they play together regardless of their relative standings in the division.

If the championship game is on the line, my money is on Jordan. That’s not to throw any shade on King James.

down 0-3, Celtics force game 7 in spectacular fashion...

Shocked Very Happy
Quote:
Saturday's victory continued Boston's remarkable ascent back into this series. The Celtics became the fourth NBA team to
force a Game 7 after falling behind 3-0 in a best-of-7 series, joining the Portland Trail Blazers against the Dallas Mavericks
in the first round of the 2003 playoffs against the Dallas Mavericks; the Denver Nuggets against the Utah Jazz in the Western
Conference semifinals in 1994; and the New York Knicks against the Rochester Royals in the 1951 NBA Finals.

The Celtics, however, will be the first of those teams to host Game 7 after falling behind 3-0.

Mazzulla has now won five elimination games in these playoffs, tying him with the late Paul Westphal for the most such
victories by a first-time head coach in the postseason, after Westphal led the Phoenix Suns to the 1993 NBA Finals.
