Bob Saget, comedian and 'Full House' star, dead at 65
Bob Saget, the comedian and actor arguably known best by audiences as wholesome
patriarch Danny Tanner on the sitcom "Full House," has died, his family confirmed in
a statement to CNN.
He was 65.
"We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today," the Saget
family said in their statement. "He was everything to us and we want you to know
how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of
life together with laughter. Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to
join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world."
Saget was found dead in a hotel room on Sunday at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande
Lakes, according to a statement from the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
The cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner, the Sheriff's office
added.
Saget was in Florida as part of his comedy tour. According to tour dates pinned to his
Twitter account, he performed Saturday night at Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
Jeez Louise. They’re dropping like flies, it seems.
I enjoyed Dwayne a lot, especially as Dobie Gillis. I recall the first movie I recall seeing him in was around early-1960’s “Rally Around the Flag, Boys.” He might have also been Bob Cumming’s nephew in the 50’s ‘Bob Cummings Show/Love That Bob’. That show was great inspiration for my becoming a photographer. His role’s character name was Chuck. He taught hm all he knew about being a playboy/womanizer.
Such a shame about Bob Saget. He seemed like one of the good guys.
Gawd that certainly was my favorite show in early-to-mid -60s. That show and the Addams Family we’re tops.

The amount of head trauma suggested is huge. He had to take a fall where he hit his head very hard...and on two different areas. Bones broken in two different areas.
yeah, there's definitely more to the story than has been revealed thus far...
Yup. I just hope this doesn't get sordid. Saget seemed to be a decent guy. Just don't want to see another bubble burst like we've seen so many times before with celebrities.
