There are only five more episodes left!
Has anyone else been watching!? I have watched from the beginning and I love this show. The first two seasons were amazing. Even though I still watched, I didn't think the last two seasons were anything spectacular. Still excellent at times, but not like in the beginning. But this season has been getting better and better.
Did anyone watch last week's episode? My jaw dropped to the floor at the end of that one! I did NOT see that coming! I'm going to miss this freaking show so much when it's gone!
Why do so many people on A2K have this avatar?
Can you name all of the people who have or have had this avatar?
I was pretty shocked by the ending as well. Do you think he's dead? I can't imagine that they'd do that. I like Six Feet Under a lot, but this season has been a bit too dark for me. Is life really that depressing ALL the time?
This season's been boring melodrama. Where'd the damn humor go?
Everyone is in some kind of danger on this show. David and Keith and the delinquent they're trying to raise, Claire and her stalker ex-boyfriend and now her drunk, crazy art school ex-boyfriend, Mama and her disturbed husband, Rico and his really pissed-off wife who can't stand the sight of him, I think everyone's gonna end up dead by the show's finale.

Exactly! This show was always dark, but there used to be a lot of humor in it. I wonder what the deal is with Claire and the lawyer shes starting to date. You know something bad will happen with that soon...
The one thing I found pretty amusing this season was the episode with the bird that was flying around inside the house
Yes! The 40th birthday party episode was great. That was funny.
Was that the same one where Claire did the musical number "You ride up my thighs", sung to the tune of "You Light Up My Life"? Come on, that was good stuff!
Plus, that kid that Keith and David are trying to "domesticate"...Durell? Oh my god, that kid is such a little bastard...he's funny though. It's not ALL doom and gloom!
Plus, even if it is, I love it.
I think Nate is going to be in a coma or something for the rest of the show, if not dead, but he'll still be showing up, like the father used to all the time.
I wants more doom, less domestic ho-hum.
(I do like the people going crazy, like Farmer Hoggett, but that stuff is getting written out in favor of relationship/self-discovery YAWN....
I also enjoyed the scene where Keith and David had to throw out their porn after the kids found it and started playing it on TV. Looks like the relationship is starting to improve though.
That scene was hilarious - esp since David dropped one of the bags.
I was blown away by this past Sunday's - totally didn't see that coming and feel sick to my stomach about it.
When the summer is over and I don't have this awesome block of SFU and Entourage on Sundays - I'll be in mourning. Esp after last Sunday - both ruled.
:-(
I agree with you, dancingnancy. I'm going to miss this show.
But thank god I still have Big Brother. I'm hooked on that freaking show.
I really like "Entourage" also. Those boys are adorable but it could use a little 'color'. I saw an interview the other day with Mark Wahlberg and Tyrese who asked outright for a part on the show. Wahlberg said cool so, we'll see.
Nice - where'd you see the interview?
I still think it's cool that it's based off of Mark Wahlberg's posse. I'm a fan of his and every detail of the show - I'm always trying to compare. What a good idea - glad the show happened you know?
"Six Feet Under" is grand opera, or Greek tragedy (pick one). I do regret that they abandoned the quirky humor but they're trying to wrap up this disfunctional group's final hours. Have no idea where it will go but I will miss the characters. The stories, sometimes, I won't miss.
Oh my god. Big chills. I can't believe what just happened.
I missed "Six Feet Under" tonight. I'll catch it on Tuesday...
dancingnancy, it was an interview with Wahlberg, maybe it was on E!, about the new movie he's in with Tyrese, Andre 2000 and another cat about 4 adopted brothers looking for their mother's killer.

Dude, I did not know the series was ending so it was even more of a shock to me. These last two episodes were as good as any TV ever produced. Riveting.
What is so funny is that the scenes with Ruth and the hairdresser were compelling in themselves, yet in this episode, they served as mere interludes to the main storyline.
I'm glad you haven't slipped with any spoilers, kickycan, because I've got all the episodes on the hard drive of my DVR. I can just imagine that Alan Ball, as in "American Beauty," has cranked up the revelations and lead his characters into a providence that will blow both socks off.

No ****, I went to go pee and came back to find the previews for next week's show. I said, "what the heck? I thought he was fine?"
I'm surprised the writers killed him off -- I would have chosen to kill off Brenda, but that would be too coincidental.
Thanks for the spoiler, FreeDuck, as now I can just skip the next two episodes I've recorded.
